Package: irssi Version: 0.8.10-2 Followup-For: Bug #385346 In a fit of mental derangement, I mistook '%' to be part of the nickname, although that's the chatter's status (chanop, voice etc.).
Despite this blunder, one could absolutely imagine to autocomplete nicknames with their prepended status character, but that could provoke ambiguities: <@boss> --- nickname: boss, channel operator: yes < @boss> --- nickname: @boss, channel operator: no (Provided that "@", "%" or "+" are valid nickname characters) Therefore, I would like this bug report to be cancelled.
