I commented above that according to my understanding of adduser(8), the adduser command in /etc/init.d/ntp will only add an ntp group. This is wrong. It will do waht is expected.
I still claim that when I purged some of the old ntp-* packages, the ntp user and group were deleted. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
