Package: libcaca Version: 0.99.beta3-1 Severity: normal libcaca 0.9-6 (and, presumably, earlier versions) contained a CACA_DITHERING_NONE constant. This constant, and seeminly others, are missing from version 0.99.beta3-1 of the package. This causes GStreamer to fail to build against this version of libcaca.
If this is a deliberate API change by upstream, then either both versions of the API should be supported by Debian, or all packages that build against libcaca[0] will have to be ported to the new API.
