Tested now with Kernel 2.6.17-2-686 of Debian and it works. I am sending dmesg output of the two Kernel versions. "dmesg" is from 2.6.18-rc4-mm2 and "dmesg_working" from Debian's 2.6.17-2-686. I don't understand very well this part of DRI, DRM, etc, but I saw one difference between the two Kernels. On Debian's Kernel there is: [drm] Initialized i915 1.4.0 20060119 on minor 0 While on mine there is: [drm] Initialized i915 1.5.0 20060119 on minor 0 The same date but different version. So, DRI is not working because something changed between 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 or there is something really new on -mm series of the Kernel? Thank you Michel! Best regards, Nelson
