Package: colorgcc
Version: 1.3.2.0-4
Severity: normal

Hello,

a problem that bothers me with colorgcc is that it ignores my PATH
setting! Usualy, /usr/lib/ccache is prepended so gcc symlink of ccache
is used. However, colorgcc ignores that and uses /usr/bin/gcc instead.

IMO colorgcc should go trough the path and choose the first executable
called gcc, but skip the first if it is identical with its own program
(just for the people that symlink colorgcc -> gcc and put it into their
PATH instead of using CC/CXX variables).

Eduard.
