OK, moving
KERNEL=="sr[0-9]*", IMPORT{program}="cdrom_id --export $tempnode"
to udev.rules and deleting the other rule prevents udev from adding the same
rule again and again to the /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-cd.rules file.
In short, it works now as expected :)
