And, yup, this is indeed me. Haven't used neither olvwm nor lyx for years. However, I thought what the heck and installed olvwm and lyx on sid. Result: Resizing appears to work fine with the xforms version of lyx, there are no problems with the scrollbar disappearing that I can see. Consequently, this bug can be closed now.
