Package: lists.debian.org Severity: wishlist It is often good to start a discussion by informing several mailing lists at once. For example, a GR proposal might be cross-posted to -vote, -project, and -devel. However, having the actual discussion be cross-posted as well rarely works well. Many people will get the messages multiple times. Others will (by mistake, if nothing else) reply only in one list, meaning that the discussion splinters into independent threads.
It would therefore seem a good idea to have a ban on cross-posted messages that don't contain a Reply-To pointing at one list (at the most) on lists.debian.org. -- RFC 1437 - yet another MIME specification Microsoft ignores -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
