I just realised I sent this to -quiet.

A fix for this bug is attached. Please note that I have updated the
Romanian translation, too.

Although Abel and Gregory are willing to test the ppp-udeb now, I
think it would be a good thing to update the package with this fix,
and why not my translation because this bug is slowing down their
testing efforts, and fixing it would help them a lot.

I think is better to change the upstream code. After all, this is 2.4.4+ ;-)
This is an "either ... or ... " situation. no need to do both.

Sorry, I couldn't stand aside.

Two patches are attached: one about the internal version itself
(000_...) and one with a patch against the whole package (fix_...).
