Hello After upgrading to 1.4.2-4 the crash on updating figures shows up again.
In my experience up to now the crash occours with any number of documents open (including one). A fresh session of lyx seems to be much more hard to crash in this way then a session with a medium to long edition work. I was never sucessfull to make it appen again imediately after restarting.
