Package: qpsmtpd Version: 0.32-2 Severity: normal Hi!
I just had the following chat with baud, aka Matt Sargeant, one of the core qpsmptd hackers: [10:06] <kjetilkWork> clamd is working now! :-) [10:06] <kjetilkWork> but it seems to run after spamassassin [10:07] <kjetilkWork> is that a good idea? [15:05] <baud> kjetilkWork: no, run clamd first [15:05] <baud> (just switch the ordering in config/plugins) [15:06] <kjetilkWork> yup, ok [15:06] <kjetilkWork> hmmm, I just used Debian's [15:06] <kjetilkWork> is that perhaps worth a bugreport against the package? [15:11] <baud> yes [15:11] <baud> simply because SA is lots slower than everything [15:11] <baud> so get rid of viruses first. In addition, when I some time in the future get time to hack my uber-effective spamtrap plugin, it would be good to have had viruses deleted first. I don't think I did any manual reordering of the plugins, so thus this bug... :-) Cheers, Kjetil -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2006-04-26-2-smp-pooh Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages qpsmtpd depends on: ii adduser 3.63 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libdigest-hmac-perl 1.01-3 create standard message integrity ii libmail-spf-query-perl 1.997-2 Query SPF (Sender Permitted From) ii libmailtools-perl 1.62-1 Manipulate email in perl programs ii libnet-dns-perl 0.48-1 Perform DNS queries from a Perl sc ii libnet-perl 1:1.19-1 Implementation of Internet protoco ii perl 5.8.4-8sarge4 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-modules [libnet-perl] 5.8.4-8sarge4 Core Perl modules -- debconf information: qpsmtpd/queue_smtp_proxy_destination: localhost qpsmtpd/queue_maildir_destination: /var/spool/qpsmtpd/Maildir * qpsmtpd/listen_interfaces: 0.0.0.0 * qpsmtpd/rcpthosts: lists.kjernsmo.net:learn-orienteering.org:lists.learn-orienteering.org:owl.kjernsmo.net:piglet.kjernsmo.net:kanga.kjernsmo.net:list.nffj.org:ski-o.com:lists.ski-o.com:kjernsmo.net * qpsmtpd/startup_enabled: true * qpsmtpd/queue_plugin: qmail qpsmtpd/queue_none_confirm: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
