Hi, I can't reproduce the bug here, I am on Debian unstable, same jack libraries. I am pretty clueless as to what could be the problem, not being able to reproduce doesn't make debugging easier either. Anyhow, there are two things that you could try out: 1) recompile the debian package. You can remove the patch file form debian/patches/00_settings.patch, which changes the default settings of qjackctl, then you have the original sources just as Rui distributes them. 2) Compile the new version of qjackctl and try if it works on your system. Compiling it from scratch on your own machine might help Rui to get an idea where the problem is, and eliminates possible problems that the debian packaging introduced. These could be as subtle as having slighlty different versions of whatever library on your system, than on the system the application has been compiled. Anyhow, I am completely clueless as to what the problem could be, the only thing I can do is to package the new version.
