I do understand, but I call 'pdebuild' (hence the bug on pbuilder not 
cowdancer) that does parses the .pbuilderrc, and I have:

  PDEBUILD_PBUILDER=cowbuilder

in it. I'd just want to have some way like BASETGZ that allow me to 
choose the basepath for cowbuilder, that's all.
