Package: dh-make Version: 0.41 Severity: important Hello,
I just recreated the build system for a module package as a proof-of-concept. While doing that, I noticed some inconsistencies which I would like to see fixed: - in rules, PACKAGE is set to foo-modules while the control.modules.in template calls the product foo-module (without s). This follow the same scheme otherwise a new maitnainer will have fun looking for the error (which needs to be examined in a separate space which may suck) - k=... is commented though it is used below! - the arch=any package may be called foo-utils instead of just "foo". That's matter of cosmetics, but it demonstrate thte use of the packge better. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17.6 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages dh-make depends on: ii debhelper 5.0.37.3 helper programs for debian/rules ii dpkg-dev 1.13.22 package building tools for Debian ii make 3.81-2 The GNU version of the "make" util ii perl 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction dh-make recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
