Package: initrd-tools Version: 0.1.77 Severity: important After updating libdevmapper to 1.0.1 version, no initrd can be built du to the fact that libdevmapper.so.1.00 is hard coded into /usr/sbin/mkinitrd. Replacing this occurrence to libdevmapper.so.1.01 solves the problem (but this is not very portable).
