Package: rtorrent Version: 0.6.0-1 Followup-For: Bug #383102 Hi,
I have a i386 Debian testing and I experience the same kind as described in this ticket. It started appearing last week (around Aug 15th). It maybe related to : - a breaking system update (I update testing packages once a day), - a problem due to rtorrent.rc. Last week, I tested the creation of scheduler rule based on close_low_diskspace. Then rtorrent crashed during the night. Since then, I reversed my changes in the .rtorrentrc file, but rtorrent still crash on a very regular basis. Here is my stack : Caught Segmentation fault, dumping stack: 0 rtorrent [0x8057c94] 1 rtorrent [0x806c747] 2 [0xffffe420] 3 rtorrent [0x80b4b10] 4 rtorrent [0x80a3e93] 5 rtorrent [0x8059aa1] 6 /lib/tls/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xd0) [0xa79a3eb0] 7 rtorrent(_ZN7torrent18set_max_open_filesEj+0x8d) [0x8051701] md5sum checksums : 9650815774651c725d396c291a49212c /usr/bin/rtorrent af6c47d99f865d774b7ec094b08cf8cb /usr/lib/libtorrent.so.8 current rtorrent.rc : key_layout = azerty upload_rate = 75 port_random = yes check_hash = yes schedule = watch_directory,5,10,load_start=*.torrent schedule = untied_directory,5,10,stop_untied= -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages rtorrent depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-15 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.39-1 common error description library ii libcurl3 7.15.5-1 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-5 GCC support library ii libidn11 0.6.5-1 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libkrb53 1.4.3-9 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libncurses5 5.5-2 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.16-3 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8b-2 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtorrent8 0.10.0-1 a C++ BitTorrent library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime rtorrent recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
