Package: gsfonts-x11 Version: 0.17 The presence of the gsfonts-x11 in the system causes any font listing in java to crash with the folowing error :
jbuilder: ../../../src/share/native/sun/awt/font/t2k/t1.c:2171: tsi_T1GetGlyphIndexFromAdobeCode: Assertion `0' failed. In this case it was JBuilder crashing when selecting Tools->Prefs->Fonts. Uninstalling gsfonts-x11 makes java useable again but renders the flash plugin unusable(blank areas instead of text) , as it seems that it is only able to pick fonts from the gsfonts-x11 package.
