I doubt that. ldapsearch uses to fold long lines to at most 76
characters per line which is in line with the LDIF rfc. I tried to come
up with an easy solution using sed but it is not so simple to join 
continuation lines in ldif form.

This is not really a bug though so I'll degrade it to wishlist. There
are real problem to tackle first... Please tell me if the lines are in
fact truncated which would make this a real bug.
