Package: synaptic Version: 0.57.11 Severity: important Sorry for the subject but it’s kind of hard to describ in a few words. The problem occurs when changing a setting (use another default distribution for example) and applying it. After that synaptic usually rebuilds the package list, but when you click on one of the buttons (Sections, Status, Search Results and Custom Filters) except the active one, the program segfaults and exits. This behaviour is reproducible at will and I will attach the output from strace with this report.
