What is the status of this? It's really important to link libavcodec
dynamically. Otherwise, it forces the Security Team to fix security
problems in ffmpeg in xine-lib as well.
If I'm not mistaken it currently also links against the internal versions
of libmms and liba52, so it should probably use the shared libs as well.
