Package: gdm Version: 2.14.5-1 Severity: normal I use the 'GNOME' session as my default session. Sometimes I, for one reason or another, use the xterm failsafe session. After exiting that session, if I simply login again the xterm failsafe session will be the one to run, even though gdm did not ask me to make it the default.
I have to explicitely select GNOME again, and gdm then tells me that xterm failsafe session is the default, and asks me whether I want to make GNOME the default, or simply start it. This behavior is wrong; the default session should not be changed when using the failsafe session.
