reassign 382532 dpkg thanks Hi, The odds are that it is either a hardware, kernel or dpkg bug. The smart money is on local FS corruption, which has badly messed up the upgrade operation (and the file /var/lib/dpkg/info/libselinux1.list was damaged in the process).
I am assigning this to dpkg in the name of due diligence, but I would urge the reporter to see if something else got corrupted on the file system. manoj -- Remember your place, programmer, that way you may keep your head.
