Package: samba Version: 3.0.23b-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
After running apt-get dist-upgrade to update samba to 3.0.23b-1 the smbd daemon fails to start rendering the service unusable. The nmbd daemon starts successfully. Previously was running samba 3.0.22-1 successfully. log.smbd shows the following: [2006/08/11 22:05:36, 0] smbd/server.c:main(847) smbd version 3.0.23b started.
