Package: aspell Version: 0.60.4-4 Severity: wishlist I just ran a spellcheck and happened upon "Ubnuntu", and my aspell does not know Ubuntu yet. What to do? ignore? Nah, I'd rather fix it right there and then add the unknown Ubuntu. But I cannot seem to edit the highlighted word except for choosing from the list of replacements.
It would be nice if I could interactively edit the highlighted word or even have the option to fire up an editor to the line and later resume. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (750, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (250, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages aspell depends on: ii dictionaries-common 0.70.2 Common utilities for spelling dict ii libaspell15 0.60.4-4 GNU Aspell spell-checker runtime l ii libc6 2.3.6-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-10 GCC support library ii libncursesw5 5.5-2 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-10 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages aspell recommends: ii aspell-de-alt [aspell-diction 2.1-1-4 German dictionary for aspell (old ii aspell-en [aspell-dictionary] 6.0-0-5 English dictionary for GNU Aspell ii aspell-fr [aspell-dictionary] 0.50-3-6 French dictionary for aspell -- no debconf information -- Please do not send copies of list mail to me; I read the list! .''`. martin f. krafft <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : :' : proud Debian developer and author: http://debiansystem.info `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system
