Package: bootcd
Severity: normal

I'm creating an image using an Etch image. I have installed Etch in
separate partitions and I have prepared a system in one of the
partitions (let's call it the "model"). In the other partition (the
"burner") I have changed the root for bootcdwrite and I have started the
image building process, which ends succesfully.

The result image boots succesfully until:

Begin: Mounting root file system... ...
/init: /init: 130: Syntax error: 0xto
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I'm using the stock 2.6.15-1-686 kernel. The image is being booted on
qemu. Machines are both (the "burner" and the "model" and the qemu
machine) i386, specifically Pentium III and IV, with stock Debian Etch
systems.

I'm reporting this from a Sid machine. The version which I'm trying is
2.53.

Thank you very much for your time,
Jose
