First off, my apologies to all for the delay on this bug. The problems
under fvwm are related to the terminal windows being unmapped during the
tiling process, and for whatever reason they aren't responding correctly
when the MapWindow request is sent after the repositioning is done. The
windows are actually still active - e.g. you can dig up their window ids
with xwininfo and explicitly send MapWindow requests to restore them.
(Perhaps the root cause is some sort of buffering problem for X events in
fvwm?) In any event, I was able to reproduce the problem many, many times,
and sometimes it would occur with the command window as well. Also
interesting is that the active/viewable windows seem to toggle each time you
retile, despite the fact that clusterssh is sending the same X events to all
of the windows every time.

I have uploaded a new version (3.19.1-2) to experimental that no longer
unmaps the windows during retile unless the configuration parameter
"unmap_on_redraw" is set to "yes". In other words, it should work by
default on fvwm (and it seems to work fine under xfce4 as well). One of
thing I'm trying to figure out is why there is a short delay before the
command window reappears after a retile (only under fvwm).

The upload to experimental is a way the package somewhere central so it can
be downloaded while I do some more testing under other window managers; it's
not experimental in the sense that it may cause harm to your system. Please
test if you can to make sure this resolves the issue. If anyone would like
me to mail them the new .deb directly, just let me know.

Thanks,
tony
