There are around 120 new CVE issues every week. It is not possible for us (the testing security team) to check every issue in detail. Often (as in this case) it is not even obvious which packages contain the code that the advisory is about. Sadly, a simple ping to the maintainers often goes unanswered and it is quite difficult to track which pings are answered and which aren't. So I open a bug. Cheers, Stefan
