Then provide a solution.

I want to store some of INN's buffers in a logical volume. Since they
lose their ownership upon reboot, an according chown has to be done.

- LVM itself might be a place but there is no such code as far as I
  know. Asking them to add that might be an idea but I'm not aware of
  any other application that stores data in a raw partition.
- udev could probably do that but udev isn't installed on every system.
- Or add to /usr/share/doc/README.Debian that Debian's inn does not
  support buffers in LVM.
