Package: postfix
Version: 2.3.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

when using logcheck (debian package logcheck) heaps of plain postfix
log messages are reported since usual syslogd.conf files contain a line
of the type

*.*;auth,authpriv.none -/var/log/syslog

This causes postfix logs to be added to syslog.

Therefore, each debian package of programs logging to syslog should
come with a configuration file in /etc/logcheck which tells which log
messages to ignore.

regards
Hadmut
