Thank your for your answer!

I could assign the bug to the kernel-package. However I actually do not want
to waste your time.

I talked to my colleagues, several of them were experiencing the same
problem. It is clear that simply raising the limit for the argument list is
only a short term solution. But maybe it would be good to come up with a
more flexible approach.
