the real fix is just one word in debian/rules:
dh_installman x11-ssh-askpass.1
I attached an full diff for your convenience (but marked as NMU, which
I currently don't intend to do). I tested the upgrade from the current
(broken) version and it went fine on my amd64 testing box.
My diff updates the description, completing the fix for #273946.
Further I bump the standards version (no change required).
You also might clean up the debian/rules file and remove all
unnecessary calls.
Further there is already a man page in the source (its actually
built). Is there a reason you are not installing this one, but provide
your own?
It would be nice if you could update this for Etch (if you don't have
the time, please tell than I can try to get a proper NMU done).
