I'm unsure what you think is the bug here. nfs-kernel-server.default reads: # Do you want to start the svcgssd daemon? It is only required for Kerberos # exports. Valid alternatives are "yes" and "no"; the default is "no". NEED_SVCGSSD= Have you set this to "yes"? Does it still not start up?
