Could you try 0.65-1, maybe the problem is fixed there.
This will take time, but I'll try. Nevertheless, I think the problem may be in SDL, as I encountered similar problem in other SDL applications too.

Yes, this IS definitly something wrong :-) It seems to be a problem in my MUA (Opera on Windows) which seems to ignore attachments which are on my Linux disk. I apologize.
