reassign 297702 apt thanks This definitely looks like a bug in apt-get to me. Rather than taking the path-of-least-change (as the frontends attempt to do), it just seems to be picking the first package alphabetically that satisfies the phpapi-$foo-zts provides/depends relation. This would most like occur each and every time that virtual package is incremented, and the modules depending on it were updated to depend on the new version.
