Package: partman-auto-lvm Severity: minor RedHat did something similar. It's a real mess when you have a disk that has been installed in this manner, and you want to pull it out and plug it into another machine that has also been installed in this manner.
You end up with duplicate volume group names, and a world of hurt. I would strongly recommend making it more unique and using the hostname of the installation. regards Andrew -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
