Forwarded to the BTS to keep a track of it; check for items/__init__.py and
work out if this is a packaging bug or a bug with the demo.

Maybe you could help me on understanding how to run the demo examples
in /usr/share/doc/python-opengl/Demo/suite/GLUT.py

This python script has a line containing "import items" that gives the
following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "GLUT.py", line 11, in ?
    import items
ImportError: No module named items

But there is not such module items.py; there is a directory called items.

I write you mainly to ask for a way of grab the necessary information,
I already belong to the python-opengl mailing list but they have not
helped yet.

Thanks
