Having done such setup, I completely agree with Andrew's comments. The setup of a multi-head samba server with different daemons listening on different interfaces (or interface aliases) should be left to the local admin. This needs using several separate directories (/var/run/samba), special entries in smb.conf for the PID file and such information..... In short, this probably is a nightmare to automate....Given that this is an option only for experienced Samba admins, I see no benefit in trying to add some special support for this in the Debian package. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
