Having done such setup, I completely agree with Andrew's comments. The
setup of a multi-head samba server with different daemons listening on
different interfaces (or interface aliases) should be left to the
local admin. This needs using several separate directories
(/var/run/samba), special entries in smb.conf for the PID file and
such information.....

In short, this probably is a nightmare to automate....Given that this
is an option only for experienced Samba admins, I see no benefit in
trying to add some special support for this in the Debian package.
