http://www-timc.imag.fr/Sylvain.Ferriol/debian/d-i/i386/ it works great! Hope this will be in the official release. In my last mail I didn't mention the problem the installer had with the SATA drive. With previous images I had to set the HD to 'legacy' mode and the drive is treated as an IDE disk (/dev/hdc). With the above images, SATA is handled properly. I will submit an installatio report separately.
