Package: ipvsadm Version: 1.24-1 Severity: important
During configuration, ipvsadm does not let me permit eth0.300, vlan300, et al to be valid interface names for multicast interfaces. When installing/upgrading with a pre-existing /etc/default/ipvsadm with an invalid interface, it gets in an endless loop and eventually runs out of memory. Manually editing the default/ipvsadm file and restarting ipvsadm works (although with 2.6.11 it ends up in D state, which I believe is a kernel issue independent of this) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-rc1-bk8 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages ipvsadm depends on: ii debconf 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
