Can you be more precise on the configuration you have (hardware and software) ? Can you give xorg.conf relevant informations, /var/log/Xorg.0.log. I've opened a bug on Xfce bugzilla which you should follow http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2099 because it'll be there where upstream will communicate. Btw, Olivier, core xfwm developper, is in holidays, so I guess the bug won't be treated until a week or so. I can't really reproduce the bug because I don't use compositing on this box (too slow, even with beta1). Are you sure that xorg or something wasn't upgraded when you upgraded to beta2 too ?
