Thanks for the report. If you can set the VERBOSE=yes variable and build again and report the detailed debugging output that would allow us to know more information about this problem. In the build directory: env VERBOSE=yes make -C tests/misc TESTS=pwd-long Or whatever you need to do to get VERBOSE=yes set for the pwd-long test. That will produce shell tracing output.
