After sending in this bug, I found out the path to the certs and crl is: /usr/share/beid/certs/ /usr/share/beid/crl/
So actually it's just a wrong path in the default /etc/beidgui.conf But even after correcting this in my config, the "wrong root certificate" error still shows up while saving the options.
