Package: cacti-cactid Version: 0.8.6d-3.0.raf Severity: important There seem to be two problems with the latest version of cacti-cactid: 1. It cannot find a configuration file. It looks for /etc/cacticactid.conf and not /etc/cacti/cactid.conf. Changing CONFIG_PATH_2 in cactid.h fixed it. 2. The configuration file needs an option SNMP_Ver, otherwhise cactid does not want to run (ERROR: Unsupported SNMP version: 0).
I built my own package with the first fix (based on your package) and added the missing option to cacti.conf, and now it works.
