I am on holiday, with very limited access (2 hours a week). The idea was to test with binutils < 2.17, but the latest upload made the test (2.3.6-16). It was built with binutils version 2.16.1cvs20060117-1, and was built successfully. I am therefore reassigning the bug to binutils. -- .''`.
