hi robert, thanks for the extra info. i'm wondering why it's segfaulting so deep into libradius' territory. i've looked into things a bit more and at this point i'm suspecting that radiusclient itself may be the culprit here, as there have been similar 32 vs 64 bit typing issues in the past as well (#321229).
since the previous lack of access to a 64 bit system still stands,
i'm going to rfc this to the package maintainer for radiusclient
to see if he has anything to say, as well as debian-devel.
