Comments/Problems:
A. Boot from floppy - could not find boot and root images at debian.org,
sarge floppies did not work, used mirror.
B. Installer not entirely clear , in expert mode. For instance, the auto
partition tool, the text for it is truncated.
C. kernel -> linux-image-2.6.15-1-486
Since I am fairly certain mine is a Pentium Classic, and the 686 are for
Pentium Pro and above, I went with the 486.
after choosing the above kernel image, I chose 'yaird'
failure. I repartitioned.
I chose a couple other kernels..
failure. More repartioning
I again chose the above kernel image, and initramfs-tools - failure. I did
NOT repartition
I chose again the same kernel image, and yaird.
Install to unclean target? YES
It worked. shrug.

Thoughts:
Gee, I hope this is a pentium classic and this is the right kernel for it.
[Maybe I can find out in /var/log/installer/hardware-summary]
Hmm... some of these choices are tough. I had to go back and pick some more,
complicated by some descriptions truncated in the display, and no apparent
way to scroll.
Egads, it installed.. heh.
Post initial install thoughts:
Where is set up hostname?
where is configure aptitude?
Oh well, (apt-cdrom add) times 19.
aptitude update
aptitude is SIGSEGV dying every cd change, hmm what did I miss? (bug 377751)
