Forwarding bug reported in Ubuntu

non-HP hpijs-PPDs are missing.

All the hpijs printers were removed from the package
foomatic-filters-ppds and moved to the new package hplip-ppds, but in
the hplip-ppds packages there are only HP printers and not all the
printers using hpijs driver.
So now all not HP printer using hpijs driver (Kyocera, Canon, Samsung,
etc.) are missing because they are not in foomatic-filters-ppds and
also not in hplip-hpijs.
I also believe that all hpijs PPDs belong in package hpijs-ppds and
should be installed in /usr/share/ppd/hpijs.
If I'm not mistaking with the files hpijs-printermap and hpijs-generator
found at linuxprinting.org you should be able to generate the foomatic
xml files for both HP and non-HP printers. The foomatic xml files can
then be used to generate all hpijs PPDs.
Kind regards,
Pascal
