Excel 2002 complains about every file it opens on the fileserver, although these are not touched by anything but itself. According to http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2005-January/098342.html this is fixed upstream already. 3.0.11 fixes a lot of other problems. I'd like to see it in sarge.
