Package: dcc Version: 1.2.74-2 if you look at the make output while building dcc package you'll see that none of the sub-makes have been passed the -O2 flag... so none of the cc lines have -O2 on them. this could very well be an upstream problem... but since the entire package is built in subdirs this means none of it is optimised.
