The conf part of /etc/logwatch/conf is redundant - what else would be stored in /etc?
That's very true, on the other hand, upstream uses the same path. The reason is that they also store the scripts in /etc/logwatch.
I'll postpone a decision on that bug, waiting for upstream what they will do, because there was a discussion upstream already.
